Saturday again !

It's Saturday again , time heals time flies in a blink of eye. That means school is going to reopen AGAIN . January is coming means PMR's result is revealing !! Ahhh dammit seriously afraid of my results . Not so confidence about it hahahhh .Laughs * Heading down KL on Christmas ! Have to count down at home with Jess the mama owing I'm still working on christmas eve from 7pm to 8pm Jeez !




Yesterday was my last day at british council er i meant my secondary class with my buddies . Am going to miss them a lot especially Yi xuan ( sister in real life , tsk tsk * ) & Yi Ting ! heh , two Yi's . er Jolise Ng ? oh nuuuuuh , next year we're gonna be in same class again . hahhh suay sangat * lol inside joke my dear ;P It's glad to be in same class with you . Next year Jolise & I are going to be in Young Adults' group , Course - YAUI . Will really misshh you guys my lovable *coughs coughs fweeens . =C Sigh , hate this leaving moments .

Around 3pm , daddy had reached to pick me up . Oh not forget to mention , Jessica followed us to the island too . She was about to get a purse yesterday , and at last she got a pretty green ones from Fossil , kinda love it . heh ;P Daddy & mummy got tons of snacks and foods from gurney too . lol i was like , wtheck mummy what were you doing just now ?? lol . After that , Jess & I went to have our favv foods, da yummm * Tomyam huhu :DD Don't really have appetite so i did not eat much . Did some Biatchy girls talks as well .

Trinity or ABRSM ?

I'm making a decision now , whether to take ABRSM's diploma or Trinity's ?
Okay , here's some of both of these schools . I'm going to take ATCL's diploma .

Trinity Guildhall Diplomas

Recital Lengths

Recital lengths for Trinity Guildhall and comparative ABRSM diplomas are:

ATCL Recital	32-38 mins	DipABRSM	35 mins ±10%
LTCL Recital	37-43 mins	LRSM	40 mins ±10%
FTCL Recital	42-48 mins	FRSM	50 mins ±10%

ATCL Recital

This exam has 2 sections :

Recital of 32-38 mins (90% weightage)

Presentation skills and programme notes (10%

weightage)

Recital - 32-38 minutes to play your pieces .

* Note : Trinity timings include only the duration of pieces and excludes any breaks between items; ABRSM timings includes breaks between items. Examiners may stop the recital if the prescribed duration is exceeded.


So the Presentation skills is they'll ask you some question about the pieces that you've chosen and they'll be asking some questions about the Characteristic about the composer and some detail of the song . Programme notes ? Its like an essay , you have to prepare it bfo taking this examination . For Trinity's you have to write an essay about - 300-700 words ; ABRSM's - you have to write about 1100 words . Its a MUST .

ABRSM Performance Diplomas

ABRSM performance diplomas consist of 2 sections:

1. Recital

2. Viva Voce and Quick Study

Recital

The recital section involves performing in general at least 3 pieces of music; they should represent a balanced programme displaying a mixture of different musical periods, styles and moods.

The pieces are usually picked from repertoire lists given by the exam board. Less commonly, it is also possible to play other pieces or play as

an accompanist up to a certain time limit.

Recital Lengths

Recital lengths required for ABRSM diplomas and TCL diplomas are:

DipABRSM	35 mins ±10%	ATCL Performance	23-27 mins
		ATCL Recital	30-35 mins

ABRSM's dip is included the viva voce and quick study parts . Tri ? No . That's why teacher said for Trinity , its way easier to pass .



but overall , Trinity is easier compared to ABRSM's lah , and ABRSM's is kinda strict too .
anyway , it takes me some time to make up my mind .I'm gonna take ABRSM's i think .Anyway , readers , comment plez ? which is better ?
